The Porc and the Pine...

It was the first beautiful day we have had in a long time... so we loaded everyone up and went for a walk in our favorite neck of the woods. About a mile in we see Rowan and Cheyenne delve off into a thicket and go crazy. The end result a treed porcupine and a pin cushioned pup. Thankfully Cheyenne did not get involved like her brother (perhaps she told him to test it out first). We spent 2 hours at the Post Falls Pet ER, and so glad we had them!
Lesson learned, always carry a fifth of Jack Daniels and a pair plyers in the mini van. Rowan is doing very well and will be back to treeing porcs in no time I'm sure.
