1/4 Inch Difference

This is a long story, but the kids made a fort out of tooth picks 2 months ago... After cleaning up we missed one on the floor and Ethan stepped on it. We cleaned it and looked at it and it didn't appear anything was still in it. So we watched it and it festered and got weird, so we ended up at the doctor 6 weeks after it happened knowing it was beyond our limit now. Our doctor said that a wart virus had found it's way into the wound, so Ethan then ended up with a plantar wart. We treated that. 2 weeks later he has about an inch of a bump raised on his heel, Josh cleaned it again and asked Ethan to push his heel against Josh's thumb, and the picture above is what popped out!!!!! Our poor baby has walked around with that in his heel for 2 months. OUCH!! What a difference a quarter inch makes. He is healing and doing much better now.
