I love being an American. While we don't always agree with the politics of the country, from either side, we are greatful every day that God allowed us to be born and raise children in this land. My favorite American song is "This Land is Your Land" by Woodie Guthrie. We really got to enjoy our land this weekend...
Sunday: Hiked in 4 feet of snow towards Harrison Lake, had a campfire in the backyard (P.S Mrs. Crockpot, I love you and how you always have dinner ready after a hike) roasted Smores, slept in tent in said backyard.
Monday: Hiked east side of Tubbs found a beach, swam the afternoon away, home for farmer's market tamales, more Crazy Cake, campfire, fireworks, and a surprise trip to Silverwood to see the Firework show from the side of the road (spectacular!)
