Well since we celebrated Riley's bday so early it left time to think about what he wanted on his actual day~ Again, he wanted that shoe cake (Miss Katie's 30th that he saw on facebook) but last minute he saw cheesecake and just had to have it, as I didn't want to mold cheese into a shoe we kept it basic. Josh and i sent he, Olivia and Riley's good friend to a day camp on his bday, the rock climbed, swam, played dodge ball, and saw Tin Tin, just in time to come home for lasgna (per Riley) and cheese cake. While the big kid's were at play my mom, Ethan and I ran to the store for balloons and fun decor, but guess what? They were out of helium, so we opted for the next best thing...
Ah yeah, funny plastic mustache faces!
On a more serious note, Riley read our card that we wrote out to him, and he could barely keep it together, and when he opened his present, a fly rod and reel that he can pack in on his back pack trips, he lost it. It was so sweet that he felt so touched and special. It was pure appreciation.
We love you sweet boy.
So happy we were able to celebrate such a sweet person in this world, one we are blessed to raise. Thank you Lord for this sweet person you trust us with.
Happy Birthday Riley~
